Final assignment from painting this year was to select one of our color thumbnails based of our storyboards that we did (the insane 708 panel one), and turn it in to a final layout painting- one shoot in the day, and one in the night- so our color palettes can be determined.
And so I chose my awesome Bear Mountain – who holds quite an important role in my story.
This is the “Dawn Version”.
This one is much prettier in person than in the scan. It really darkened the sky colors A LOT!
Gouache on Water Color paper. Minor pencil for deep tone and highlight (but only a little).
