Commission for Client.
She requested a moon bear, and after our discussion figured the best way to go about it would be a "Faux knots" kinda style, rather than a cultural specific one.

I'm getting through my commissions sure enough- LOTS of work on my plate, including 3 more shirt designs I need made up for next month's con! :)

Ooooh, this is so pretty! I love the knots and moon around the bear; it reminds me of a gate that the bear is guarding. I also like the tongue sticking out! It's a nice touch. :)

Heh heh, that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the knots and moon; the bear guarding the gates to the moon...and I bet the bear would make a powerful guardian to protect such a pretty gate! :D

I'd say more Celtic- the ring in the BG I pretty much the closets "ethnic traditional" of this piece. The rest of it, simply a faux. I feel all... "French Burglar" just saying that. Faux Faux Faux. XD

I think it's the curly bits. I know Celtic design has them, too, but they say Viking to me. Anyways, it's PURDY. So there!
