Forbidden City- Painted

WOHOO!
This is the final painting for my portfolio!
Yes yes, it is my “Forbidden City” layout, painted and tended to with INSANE amount of detail... well, insane for me that it!
Anyhow, props for working opaquely and applying the atmospheric-perspective-tonal-value rules! No computer effects were added to this one to dull out the background and contrast the foreground- that was done in the process of painting!
Dance! Dance and bask in they glory!

Anyhow, yah. So I love it. The scanner didn’t mess with the color this time, and the prints… oh dear god, the prints GLOW!
I'll probably add cartoon characters in the scene as well later on. It's odd to look at the layout and see the floor illuminated but no sources… that’s where the people come in. Gotta hand it to them layout painters… they good!

Anyhow, it’s time for me to clean up and put everything in order!
