This image falls under the category of “Drive me crazy”.
When I started on it- and was working on it- I loved it. After I was done, and scanned it into the com- I hated it. Then coming back to it off and on, I can’t decide if I do or don’t. I think the main issue is- I need a new scanner. The one I have is quite old (like, 5-7 years old), the brand is mediocre, and the actual “all-in-one” machine was noted to be poor quality- and I noticed that it’s color levels and quality is slipping. Even black-and-white sketches are starting to be very contrasted and bleached. Either which way, this image depicts my favorite 2 Jedi- Qui-gon and Obi-wan. I’m certainly going to do lots more of these two... maybe even mush them up with some of my own characters for fun. Time permitting.  I also wish that paper would lay flat! It’s all crumply and wavy once you use it… hellish to scan.  Medium: Pencils on craft paper Size: 9” X 12” P.S. Happy Ben is happy. Big Qui-gon is big.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
