I loved Season 3 of True Blood. I know most of the fans were doing their typical "my opinion of it's existence clearly stands so important that my calling it bad will make the writers write the series the way I want it" thing, but I couldn't care less. I was at the edge of my seat for nearly the ENTIRE thing. Just LOVED IT. (This is NOT an invitation for people to tell me how much they didn't like it- I don't' care, I'll just ignore your post if you do).
And one of the things that made it awesome was these two. Russel and Talbot. God I loved them. Every single moment. And I burst into tears at Russel's "Goodby Talbot" speech becuase... well, I think it contained everything a real relationship had to contain in order for it to be "love". Something clear, we don't have now a days.
An alternative title for this piece can be "The King and his Queen".
Oh, and while re-watching the season, I noticed that in one scene, I think Russel is wearing some sort of fish-net stocking... and I could NOT get over the fact that he wears it BETTER than I could ever wear it.
Those Roses nearly gave me an aneurism... but they were so worth the final product.
WoW. You did an amazing job on this!!^_^I loved Talbot and Russell...they were great, especially together *sly smile*. Too bad Eric killed Tabs. What BS, although I do like Eric (at least on the show). If you've read the last book, Deadlocked, it's kind of a bummer how he's turned out.
Amazing renderings! And the roses came out beautifully. While I' not really a True Blood watcher (never saw the show, actually), I can totally appreciate the skill that went into this portraiture. I'm gonna guess that it's conte', or some sort of graphite on toned paper...either way I bow to the skill in this. I've never been very good with tones on toned paper myself.
Wow! Thank you for that comment! I am stunned! It is actually pencil [faber castel] on Canson board. I am SUCH the Canson addict, it's not even funny. XD
good draw!
The roses were the hardest part. But thy were fun!
