Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

College
Strike.
Dude.
Awsome.
First day of the strike- And I have to admit, I was absolutely sure that there wouldn't be one! I am happy about it 'cause I get to invest a lot more time working' on the film than blowing endless commute hours and redundant time on projects that are not related.
That, and it also came in the nick of time to help out at the community center!

Community Center
Yah, for those who don't know I do volunteering at a community Center.
The first day was great. Really helped a lot in the kitchen, and I think I made a good impressions 'cause they called back tonight and wanted me to come in again tomorrow!
Apperantly, there is a big gathering (8th Annual Women's Achievement Award) , and poor Phil (the cook) has to cook for 800 people. That, and on a daily basis the center makes a lunch for the elderly, homeless, and community- so he has to cook for that as well. AAANNNDDDDD he does a catering too. So he's swamped. And so they rang up and I'll be helping the madness tomorrow! XD

Katana
Did I mention I bought a Katana the other day?
Yah, so I bought a Katana the other day.
As always, when me and my sis have an outing with one of my amazing friends, things get CRAZY! And if it isn't weird enough, spiritual coincidences happen like nuts! One of which was that I found a Katana- a WOLF Katana- all perfect and waiting for me. And it was priced amazingly. And I bought it. And I love it. And I know it is really reflecting my deeper psychological yearning for finding a man with a giant penis, but until I do I love the Katana far more. @u@

Yes, I'm working full time on our "group film" at college, so my art has gone down to a nill. However, I hope to get a few crafts up soon, and maybe if I'm lucky an image or SOMETHING. I miss drawing for myself! XD

Penises are very nice. Sorry for being out of the loop for so long! I've been wondering how things have been going for you. From your journal it seem like things are good. That's awesome that you got a wolf-themed katana. I've been searching the internet for a sword to go with my TK costume but with little luck.

Strike? What strike? Are students at your school striking? Craziness.

Are you going to AnimeNorth again this year? Are you going to dress as Rin-chan again?

Oh yes, I just moved into a new apartment and once I get back from Sogen Con I'm going to finish moving in and hanging stuff. I'm planning on taking a pic of my "Wall of Tark Art" and posting it on DevArt. I think I'm going to hang the pics around my computer...for inspiration and reminders of SDS and all that good stuff.

here! It's too bad we couldn't go to AN this year, but we did end up having a good time at Sogen-con. I even got to have breakfast next to Johnny Yong Bosch one morning! (I'm such a pathetic fangirl).

Anyways, with getting costumes together and everything, I'm just now starting to hang pictures in my new apartment. I've had your pics framed for like forever but now I can finally hang them up. They're definitely going up around my computer, I'm currently thinking up of a good arrangement for them. And then I can grab my parent's digital camera, take a shot and finally post my "Wall of Tark" on DevArt. Oy, I feel so lazy! I haven't even posted pics of my costumes yet!
