Taking Flight

FINALLY! Took me 2 weeks (off and on) to work on this, but I am VERY proud of the outcome!
Originally, I wasn’t going to post this here on Devianart until after the official début of this image at Con-no-baka, but I decided that I really did want to post it here just to show off my labor and sweat!

Anyhow, this is a poster-sized “Wide Screen” shot (14” X 17”) of the whole gang.
I figure that Kag and Sango wanted to “get” the guys for some stupid thing they had said/done earlier, so they hopped on Kirara (with little Shippou of course- he wouldn’t do anything remotely stupid as the guys would) and took off to give them a scare.
And boy what a scare!
Poor Inu... his hand is all burnt! I hope he’s got the stamina to hold on until the girls decide that it would be in their interests to let their “boyfriends” up on Kirara as opposed to falling to their deaths.
Or at least, until the guys apologized!

As always, the image might appear big, but the resolution of this is low (to diswayed theft and/or printing). Original size of this thing was 24” X 27” or something like that. On that size, even Shippou was highly detailed and large!

Prints are available at 14” X 17”, and will also be sold at Con-no-baka!
